Mind Over Cancer Launches New Website with Flock Design

Mind Over Cancer is pleased to announce the launch of its new website as part of its wider commitment to providing continued support for its service users.

The Mind Over Cancer team has been working with Chesterfield based agency, Flock Design, to create an exciting new website that will enable us to create a strong visual impact whilst providing an improved user experience for our service users and supporters.

The launch of the website follows an exciting first year for Mind Over Cancer, which has seen the charity grow from humble beginnings to providing valuable mental health support to young people diagnosed with cancer all across the East Anglia region.

The website features a fresh approach to site navigation, taking the user on an engaging journey, allowing them to scroll effortlessly and navigate with confidence through the different pages of the website to areas of interest and provides several touchpoints for visitors to engage with us.

One of the primary goals was to ensure it was accessible to all and was responsive on a variety of platforms. The new website will enable the Mind Over Cancer team to engage with the young people we support, their families, wider support networks and to fully communicate our vision and values throughout the user journey in a fully integrated way. The new website also provides clear signposting to enable our visitors to get involved with volunteering and fundraising as well as providing a secure donation platform.

Angel Fernandez of Flock Design said “This has by far been one of the most exciting projects that we have been involved in, the team at Mind Over Cancer showed us early on just how passionate and dedicated they were about the mental health of young people with a cancer diagnosis. With cancer being something that is close many hearts in the Flock team, and with the charity still in its early stages we decided to waive our fees and provide our services free of charge, we have also included a year’s free hosting along with a commitment to support the charity with updates and maintenance of the website. We are very much looking forward to seeing how the website helps Mind Over Cancer grow over the coming months and years”
